Lost Ark’s October update is right around the corner, and the team is sharing some details on what to prepare for if you want to be ready to jump into the new features when the update arrives.

The update is set to go live on October 11th, and will introduce Pleccia, a brand new continent to explore, complete with new story and questlines. To visit Pleccia, there are a few prerequisites. First, you’ll need to have reached item level 1475 and completed the “Call of Destiny” quest. If you’ve done all of that, then be ready to explore a new continent known for its art, romance, and history, with an emphasis on freedom.

Of course, being that there’s a new story about to begin, there’s more to Pleccia than the beautiful places and art. Something mysterious is going on and this is, of course, about to become your business. Some of the NPCs you’ll meet, among them the Vediche family, the Yoz illusionists, and others, will be involved in the intrigue. Completing the new story content will even let you unlock some special rewards.

Another bit of preparation you might want to consider are for the upcoming Caliligos Trial Guardian Raid. A Trial Guardian Raid is intended to be a challenge similar to a Legion Raid. What makes this special is that you  can only take on this instance after you use the Book of Coordination to  set up your build, reach item level 1250, and complete “Raid Level 1: Defeat Vertus”. If you've got all that sorted, and complete the raid, expect some new achievements, a Legendary title, and more rewards.

The Lost Ark team is also going to notch the first regional clears of the Caliligos Trial Guardian Raid on the leaderboards. Since they want the competition to be a little fairer, they will be opening up the raid simultaneously for all regions on October 14th at 7:00 PM UTC / 12 PM  PT / 3 PM ET.

Full patch notes are coming soon, but for details on the team’s suggested preparation, head to Lost Ark.
