MiHoYo is launching what is the largest update for Genshin Impact yet, bringing with it a new region, NPCs and more to the RPG.

The upcoming version 2.0, called "The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia" (say that 5 times fast) brings with it the newest region to Genshin Impact, Inazuma. This region is heavily inspired by Japan, with the trailer showing tall, strong Japanese-esque castles, shipwrecked beaches, and more.

Per the press release sent this morning by miHoYo:

"Unlike Mondstadt and Liyue, Inazuma is surrounded by the sea on all sides and consists of six main islands, often accompanied by a strong sea breeze and thunderstorms. Although Inazuma is greatly affected by fleeting lightning and the Electro element, the Electro Archon who rules the area has turned to the pursuit of eternity. Throughout the adventure in Inazuma, players will be able to explore the unique cultural landscapes, stories, secrets, and historical connections to Inazuma and the Electro Archon on each of the different islands, as well as the answers to eternity from the Electro Archon herself."

Also coming with Genshin Impact's 2.0 update is the long awaited and much requested cross-save between the disparate versions of the RPG. There will now be cross-save between the PlayStation 4, PS5, PC, Android and iOS versions of Genshin Impact, keeping all of your progress and accomplishments with you regardless of where you're logging into the RPG.

You can check ou the new zone and update on July 21st when it hits all platforms. To see more of the update now, check out the trailer in the embed below.
