If you’re a fan of Genshin Impact and Horizon Zero Dawn, well, this news might be worth your interest. It looks like Aloy, fan-favorite protagonist from Horizon Zero Dawn and the upcoming Horizon Forbidden West, is heading to Genshin Impact as part of Version 2.1.
Aloy will join Genshin Impact as a five star character where she’ll be available for free for PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile. However, any PlayStation players will have exclusive early access to Aloy. You’ll receive Aloy in 2.1 if you’ve reached Adventure Rank 20 through the game mail.
If you’re not on a PlayStation platform, you’ll receive Aloy during Version 2.2 through the same in-game mail method. Aly will start off with a free four star bow which will provide her a buff. As the accompanying press release noted,
“An Outcast, Seeker, and proven huntress from the Nora Tribe who saves life on Earth in Horizon Zero Dawn™, Aloy will not hesitate to fight for a cause during her adventures in the world of Teyvat. In addition to her extraordinary archery abilities, she also acquired a Cryo Vision in this world and can wield unique elemental power in combat and exploration.”
