Genshin Impact 5.4, "Moonlight Amidst Dreams", is coming February 12th, bringing the Mikawa Flower Festival, a new playable character, new minigames, and a slate of optimizations.
The festival, an event celebrating the bond between humans and youkai, returns. Raiden Shogun will be attending and is there to investigate “a mysterious nightmare”. When you enter the event area, you'll find a series of minigames from the 48-hour game development competition.
Bunshin Phantasm is a puzzle where Muji-Muji Daruma mimics your moves from the last round. you'll have to unlock a bridge within three rounds, so you need to make sure that the moves you make, when repeated, complete your goal. Other games include A Little Fox's Daydream, where you have to guide a little fox to its destination. Akitsu Harpastum is a twist on Akitsu Yuugei. Play these minigames to earn Festival Stamps that you can exchange for rewards.
The update introduces a brand new character, Yumemizuki Mizuki, a 5-star Anemo Catalyst. She is a clinical psychologist and major shareholder of the Aisa Bathhouse, and she has some interesting abilities. Her Dreamdrifter state, activated by her Elemental skill, lets her deal AoE damage and support her team with increased damage. She can also summon a Mini Baku that shares snacks that can heal party members with under 70% HP (or explode if they’re over 70%!). It's a good idea to have Mizuki in your party because when you use healing food items there's a chance to restore 30% HP to the entire party.
Genshin Impact 5.4 also adds a number of optimizations.Set level up goals for your characters in the training guide. When you set goals, you will be able to see all of the required materials and their sources so you can work out exactly how you can plan to progress your character. Character and weapon filter systems are getting overhauled to be clearer and faster to access the info you need. We're also getting an auto add button to the weapon refinement interface to make that faster as well.
