Genshin Impact 4.7, "An Everlasting Dream Intertwined" is coming on June 5th, with Three new playable characters, new challenges, and more secrets uncovered by the progression of the Archon Quest.
The team revealed details on the update, with new playable characters Clorinde and Sigewinne, both of who can use Arlecchino’s signature Bond of Life mechanic in new ways. Clorinde is a champion duellist from Fontaine. A five-star Electro sword wielding fighter, she can use the Night Vigil state to open up different attack possibilities to acquire or clear Bond of Life. Piercing pistol let attacks can let her accumulate Bond and another sword attack can clear her Bond of Life and restore HP for her. Healing her by any other means while in Night Vigil is added to her Bond of Life instead of HP.
Sigewinne is a Melusine and the head nurse for the Fortress of Meropide. She uses Bond of Life to help her allies as an effective support. When all party members accumulate Bond of Life, it increases Sigewinne’s ability to heal others. Of course, if she is in combat, she can fire a large bouncing bubble that will trap and attack other enemies. She can also use that bubble to heal and buff her own team.
Both characters have their own quests, and introduce new strategies to learn how to use to your advantage with Bond of Life. There is a third playable character in the update however. Sethos is a four-star archer with Electro arrows.
Version 4.7 will also introduce a monthly update for the Spiral Abyss, which will now reset every 16th of the month. On July 1st, there will be a fresh challenge domain, Imaginarium Theater, that will offer different combat challenges to only those characters with certain elements. There will be difficulty levels to choose from and if you enter the challenge, expect buffs and debuffs. With this arrival, expect better and increase rewards.
Genshin Impact will also get a number of improvements, including new minigames, new optimizations, and more. There will also be a peel at the nation of Natlan, which will fully arrive later in the year.
