When it comes to Rift, Gamigo is following through with stepping things back up in the game. Today, the company announced the return of the Rift Battle Pass is here, and Season 1 begins.

The new Battle Pass is a reset, but this is part of the greater activity for Rift. Last month, there was an update from the community team noting that the big content update that had been promised for Q1 didn't quite make it and still needed more time. In that same update, we were told that new patches would start rolling out and there would be events and a reset battle pass season, which is now here.

Today's patch brings the battle pass back in a rebooted season 1, which will last until August 8th 2022. You’ll have until August 15th to claim any rewards you've earned. Earn with the free battle pass throughout the season with 30 levels of daily and weekly quests to complete. The free pass will let you earn consumables and different artifacts/ You can also get your hands on the "Pants on Fire" effect, which does what it says, and works as a cosmetic fiery effect.

You can also upgrade to a premium pass, which costs $6.99,  for more rewards. These include even more flaming cosmetic effects like Hot Flaming Feet or hands, flaming eyes, cosmetic Wings of Flame at level 26, and a level 30 mount called Great Balls of Fire. If you also subscribe and have Patron status, there will also be even more rewards to get. Also at Patron level, you even have the opportunity to get the armored Fireball Dragon Supply Crate. Open that for your chance at getting some Fiery Drakes.

Gamigo continues to support Rift and to work on bringing more content, and with the new Battle Pass season starting, makes good on another announcement.
