The 2016 Game Awards is going to set a new standard for digitally broadcast events when it goes live on December 1st. Viewers will be able to check out the "Oscars of Gaming" via a first-ever live broadcast on Twitter, through a first-time simulcast in China, by viewing on Facebook Live and even via virtual reality by way of NextVR, the first event of its type.
Viewers will be able to see which companies and individuals take home a Game Award as well as see game world premieres and musical performances.
The Game Awards will once again return to web, mobile and console platforms around the world, airing on PlayStation Network, Steam, Twitch, Xbox Live, YouTube, and highlights will also be featured in a Snapchat Live Story.
