Galahad is Nearly Ready to Rumble - Find Out Exactly When

The Albion Online site has been updated with the big news that the Galahad update will be ready for live service next week. Servers are down preparing for the big day. If you want to know exactly when you can jump into Albion Online, we've got you covered.

Here is the Galahad release schedule:

• Legendary Founders - Monday, March 13th at 12:00 pm UTC (5:00 am Pacific / 8:00 am Eastern)
• Epic Founders - Tuesday, March 14th at 12:00 pm UTC (5:00 am Pacific / 8:00 am Eastern)
• Veteran Founders - Wednesday, March 15th at 12:00 pm UTC (5:00 am Pacific / 8:00 am Eastern)

Galahad has a lot in store for Albion Online as it moves into the future. In fact, the entire world has been reworked and the new Royal Continent online along with Outlands. The world map has been overhauled to make it more "immersive and believable". Biome cities, essentially the economic center of any location, are included, each with its own flavor, look and community.For those who love open world PvE, a lot more content has been added such as random camps, home bases and much more. Lastly, Expeditions, content perfect for anyone with limited time to play, will also be included.

Expeditions are relatively short PvE missions; perfect when you have no time to venture in the open world!  Talk to the Expedition Master in your local city, pick the size (solo/group) and Tier of your choice and start your adventure! You cannot die in an Expedition, but you do need to complete the given mission within the given time and you will lose gear durability upon dying.  Expeditions reward you with silver and fame, albeit FAR less than open world PvE would, and you will also get Royal Sigils upon completing them. These Royal Sigils can be used to craft Royal Armor pieces.

• massive world bosses called Guardians
• mob camps, smaller, more straight-forward dungeons in the open world
• altars, perfect locations to farm Essences
• the enchanting system for Runes, Souls and Relics to boost equipment power

• Destiny Board changes such as a new PvE track, Mastery levels to 100, spell unlocks
• a new UI
• emotes, borderless windowed mode, banks / chest capacity increased
• bug fixes
