If you want to get your little barbarians fighting young, it seems Conan Exiles has you and your kids covered. Funcom has released a spinoff building-action defense game of Conan Exiles on Roblox, titled Conan: Horde Slayer.
This Roblox game appears to be a wave horde defense mode that taps into some of Conan Exiles’s gameplay aesthetic and elements, including building defenses via walls and towers. The mode also appears to draw in entire assets from the original game, including entire monsters and building structures—which is interesting to see versus the standard Roblox player models, which also don some Conan Exiles assets.
Despite the oddity of the phrase “Conan Exiles in Roblox,” it does seem to be a pretty substantial game, especially for free, as the gameplay trailer shows Roblox players fighting off major hordes of Exiles monsters.
There are also no microtransactions to be seen for the moment in the game, so Conan Exiles players can (relatively) safely join their friends and kids in the fray without the temptation of losing money (nor, it seems, the roleplay).
The game is technically “out” for free on Roblox, though the Roblox page says this is a “BETA” version, capital letters and all. It’s unsure what this means, though presumably there will be fixes, changes and such in the future. And no, there’s nothing stopping you from playing with friends, too.
