Star Wars: The Old Republic 7.6.1, “Rising Powers” is coming tomorrow, and now we have all the details on what's in it. Galactic Seasons 8 is coming, there are new B3-S1 variations, new Legacy perk, new challenges, and a returning event.
Galactic Seasons 8 will offer you the chance to test out some Czerka Experimental Combat Enhancers, and give you a special buff. It could also buff your enemies. With the arrival of the season, the team will unlock Uprisings for all players and keep them accessible permanently after the season is over. Uprisings used to be content only accessible to subscribers between level 75 to 80 but now, that changes. Seasonal rewards include items inspired by Star Wars: Skeleton Crew and Andor, ahead of season 2 of the latter, returning to Disney+ in April.
The update also offers new ways to customize the Basilisk Prototype, B3-S1,with new venture customizations you can get by turning in prototype data and currencies to start unlocking the four new options. You can get them from a vendor at Lane’s Lab. B3-S1 also has new training modules on Hoth and Tatooine.
If you’re looking for a challenge, the R-4 Anomaly Operation has new rewards, including the Wings of Nihrot Mount, an achievement and title for anyone who completes it in Veteran mode within 40 minutes
The Spring Abundance Festival returns with the patch. This seasonal event debuted last year and is back again with daily and weekly event missions and new rewards to collect.
The Cartel Market gets some new utility bundles and the Peerless Explorer’s Enviro- Suit. A new Legacy perk for subscribers will give you the Improved Speeder Rank 6 speed boost. This one will have to be unlocked separately for each character.
