Frosthaven Goes from Board Game to Tactical Co-op RPG - SIgn Up for Closed Beta Now

Arc Games, alongside Asmodee and Cephalofair Games, recently released a trailer taking a closer look at the upcoming tactical co-op RPG Frosthaven. With the upcoming Closed Beta on the horizon, the adaptation of the acclaimed board game from Isaac Childres, alongside Julian Gollop, creator of X-COM, sets to expand upon the popular dark fantasy experience of its predecessor, Gloomhaven.

Tactical RPG fans have something to celebrate with the upcoming transformation of Frosthaven into the virtual world. To jump in and see what all the fuss is about, the Closed Beta begins on Thursday, March 27 at 9 a.m. Pacific Time and runs through Thursday, April 24 at 9 a.m. Pacific Time. Players can select from six unique character classes—Banner Spear, Boneshaper, Drifter, Geminate, Blinkblade, and Deathwalker—and experience 20 quests along with tutorials designed for both veterans and newcomers. Additionally, participants will test some of the Outpost base-building mechanics, unlocking new features as they progress. If you're not interested in taking the plunge just yet, you can hold off until the game reaches Early Access later this year, though a specific date has yet to be announced.
