The Chrono Odyssey team knows that it has been a while since they’ve presented anything new about the game. They just shared an update as to what they’ve been working on, including playtesting and a bit of what's ahead.
The team has continued to solidify the direction of Chrono Odyssey and they've been working on implementing feedback from a February focus group test. In their update, they share some stats from the test and what we can expect.
Soroma Stronghold was one of the most popular areas in the game, and from a screenshot and description, maybe it's clear why. “Travelers will naturally come across this region during their journey, but Soroma Stronghold is far from just another exploration site. It carries a strange, eerie atmosphere, as though something important is hidden within. What could be waiting inside?”
As far as content, testers really liked Bounty Hunting (with field bosses a close second). You’ll need honed tracking skills, patience, and observation skills to bag powerful targets. A popular target was the big brute Ravenous Bog, who might look clumsy, but shouldn't be underestimated.
Maybe the most promising of all is the team says it’s looking very likely that the team will be ready to give us all a deeper look into Chrono Odyssey soon.
