Free Trial & Sale Extended Through October 6th

ArenaNet has announced that the Guild Wars 2 free trial and game sale will continue through Sunday, October 6th. Originally scheduled to end today, the promotion has met with such success as to extend the offer another few days to allow more players to take advantage of the free game time and the terrific sale.

The free trial period, which is open to all players in North America and Europe, will continue for an additional three days, now ending Sunday, Oct. 6 at 11:59 p.m. (PDT). Players can register for free trial accounts at https://register.guildwars2.com/trial. The original seven-day free trial period, which started Sept. 27, was scheduled to end today. The extension provides even more opportunity for players to experience the trendsetting game, which recently was named the fastest-selling MMORPG of all time in North America and Europe through the first nine months of availability.

Similarly, the current sale prices will be extended for an additional two days, allowing players to purchase Guild Wars 2 at its lowest price ever through Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 11:59 p.m. (PDT). Players can buy the Digital Heroic Edition now through the end of the sale for $39.99 at https://buy.guildwars2.com. Unlike other games in the genre, no subscription fee is required.
