The Warhammer 40K: Eternal Crusade site has been updated with an updated FAQ about the newly launched free version of the game. Most importantly, however, is the news that Steam players are responding to the move and over 44,000 Daily Active Users took part in game time action on Sunday.
More players means more work for the team as several issues were identified and worked on throughout the initial free weekend: "Rewriting/Refactoring some services before we bring them back online, removing those glass roofs and a client patch en route as well."
From here, the letter identifies several known issues that are currently on the dev's schedule: Guild Services, World Map Service, framerate / lag issues, "giftable" versions of the game, to name a few.
