Hero of Aethric is a new, free to play, turn-based mobile MMORPG with highly customizable classes and full co-op play. The game has just aunched out of Early Access with over 800,000 players.
The game is inspired by classic JRPGs and classic MMORPGs. the graphics are pixel art, depicting fantasy world, monsters, and much more to work with in this modern mobile live service game with an old school flair. You'll be able to adventure through the world in a land that has been affected and marked by a cataclysmic event. As you wander through the world you'll find and encounter monsters, which you can defeat to get some Loot drops, and level up your characters, and other features that you would expect in an MMORPG.
Some of the features that Canadian developer Northern Forge Studios highlights in their game are things like the ability to unlock over 50 classes, and customization that lets you combine your gear loadouts, and spells, in order to really hone in on a customized build. Be able to build your origin town and decide where things go. There's co-op support for up to four players to play together to both battle and explore the world, and there is a guild system. This is known as Kingdoms, and also lays the support for raids.
The number of different character builds and combinations available grows even more with the launch patch, “Towers of Olympia”. The patch features the addition of 22 alternative endgame classes, a new game mode, a rogue-lite inspired dungeon called Towers of Olympia, and a new soundtrack and player guidance systems. There are also new zones to explore. Towers of Olympia will be a dungeon were you and your team will have to climb a tower and defeat the Titan on the top floor.
