Predecessor, Omeda Studios' flagship MOBA, has announced their latest update with version 1.4.5. As part of the update, the team is opening centralized North American servers on April 8th, merging previous East and West servers into a single NA-Central location.

If you were a fan of the MOBA Paragon, then Predecessor might look very familiar. With the new update, players will be introduced to quite a few QOL changes, with the server merge aiming to reduce queue times and enhance access to ranked gameplay for U.S.-based players. CEO Robbie Singh highlighted that technical and partner adjustments made this merger possible, significantly improving player experience.

"“After making some technical and partner changes, we had the opportunity to improve the experience for most of our players in North America by merging the West and East servers. We're really excited to move forward with this change, which will mean that NA players will have shorter queue times, and have better access to ranked play. We're always reviewing our server setup to ensure that players around the world get the best possible experience, and will have some more exciting news to share for other parts of the Americas very soon.”

Additionally, the 1.4.5 update introduces several enhancements, including improved Discord integration, allowing seamless communication with friends both in and out of the game. Other features include updated minimaps, in-game tips, and new anti-toxicity measures.

Fresh skins like Archangel Muriel and Construction GRIM.exe, alongside themed bundles offering exclusive cosmetics and emotes will be available as well.
