The latest bimonthly update for Eterspire, a free-to-play mobile-first indie MMORPG, brings major changes to the new-player and early game experience, setting both players and the MMORPG up for future success.
Firstly, players can pick from one of several new outfits before they’re put into the new tutorial areas.
Two new areas, Road of Beginnings and Oakridge Crossing, are included as part of the tutorial. As a press release explains, both new maps are “significantly larger than any other in Eterspire, and are optimized for smooth performance, setting the stage for even larger-scale maps in future updates.”
This update also expands the tutorial to include a new dungeon and boss to show off some of the core gameplay. Both are required in order to proceed.
While Eterspire isn’t technically “Early Access,” it gets updates twice a month to better flesh out its experience, including the Sorcerer class introduced last month.
