Aiming at an early 2016 release, Fractured Space developer Edge Case Games has secured $2.7M in funding from Seasun Games and Mercia Technologies. According to CEO James Brooksby, this will drive the business forward, including the full commercial launch of Fractured Space, a MOBA currently in development.
Fractured Space isa tactical space MOBA that was launched on Steam’s “Early Access” platform in November 2014 to critical and commercial success. The launch generated 400,000 users in its first five months and the team is now working towards a full commercial launch in early 2016.
