Fractured Opens Site Registrations that Can Net You an Alpha or Beta Key

The Fractured site has been updated to allow fans to register on the site for a chance to later earn either an alpha or beta key. Registration, of course, yields the development newsletter that keeps potential testers and fans aware of the latest news about the forthcoming game. You can share a link with friends that will ultimately net some nifty in-game rewards too.

Fractured is the first open-world sandbox MMORPG mixing action combat with fully interactable environments, appealing equally to lovers of competitive and cooperative gameplay. Jump right into the fray from day one. Defeat your enemies through your own skill and cleverness, not equipment or level. Gather resources, craft, trade and venture into legendary travels as a solitary hero, or start a settlement with your guild and grow it into the next empire.

Some other facts about Fractured:

  • it features three separate races that, according to devs, create completely different experiences: Humans, Beastmen, Demons
  • every item in the game is created by players with the server economy dynamically shifting according to scarcity of resources and items. However, getting items to market can be its own challenge due to the distance they are and the danger between point A and point B
  • crafting pursuits include farming, shepherding, mining, woodcutting, hunting, scavenging, and more
  • start playing with friends from the start irrespective of level. "You'll be on a quest for knowledge and reputation, not attribute points".
  • the team hopes to bring "the action you've loved in single player ARPGs to an MMO". The game will feature 400 abilities and 40 status effects.
  • fully interactable environments -- sort of terraforming for the spellcasting crowd
  • settle new locations and elect a government to oversee social, trading and military events in the area
