Fractured Online has a formal launch date, July 24th, where the game will launch 1.0 along with a new second server. Today, however, Dynamight Studios announced that the full launch patch will hit the existing Genesis server a week early.
The announcement came via the game’s Discord. The full launch patch will be released on July 17th only to the Genesis server, with all planned content. The team has previously announced that the full launch also means the addition of a new server to keep things on a level playing field for all and to keep things fairer.
The fresh second server will still be opening on July 24th, so launching the patch on the existing server, where the experienced and leveled up players are already playing day to day, won’t really change much. The change is that all of the new content, including the brand new tutorial, the addition of summons, added player gestures and emotes, revamped PvP, Dvine Trials and Divine Favor, will be playable a little earlier for those who supported the game to this point pre 1.0 launch.
The update will also include a number of bug fixes and quality of life changes, which are subject to change and grow before then. These include the ability to whisper in chat, a button to get you unstuck if you need it, a one-click ability to move items to and from carts, and auto-pickup for farming harvests.
So if you’re already enjoying Fractured Online on the Genesis server and want to jump into the next stage, your chance to get started early is on the way..
