Fractured Online has been dealing with a difficult bug that was wiping player banks. the team will be fixing the issue as well as adding a disconnection timer for AFK players.
Considering how destructive this would be, it's no surprise that they've been hard at work with a focus on getting this figured out. Certain banks were saving wrong, so some people had their banks completely overwritten, for some, theirs was wiped, and others might have had their bank information written to someone else's bank.
This bug was one of those pesky persistent ones that only happened “under extremely unlikely and convoluted circumstances”. It seems that after extensive investigation, they were able to identify those circumstances and create a fix, which is out now. While they were bringing the servers down, they decided to also add a new AFK timer that would disconnect players after spending 30 minutes inactive. Not only would it prevent some characters from dying of starvation, it also saves resources.
There are some other changes in the patch but nothing else that's player-facing. The first post launch content update is coming next week, But we'll have to wait a little longer for more info.
The team is also talking about the first post-launch content update coming next week and showcasing a community video featuring one of their Divine trials, the Iridia Trial. These Divine trials were one of the major features added in the launch patch to go along with the decision to eliminate the previous alignment system.
The community showcase from Ser Medieval demonstrates how you prepare for the trial, the items you'll need to collect, unlocking waypoints, picking a route, how to deal with the various mobs that spawn, and of course, loot. It's a good introduction if you haven't tried this new PVE content or if you want to improve a future attempt.
