Fortnite's Save the World Players will be getting an update to the game that will change the way V-Buck Llamas behave. Once deployed, V-Buck Llamas will be renamed "X-Ray Llama" and will allow players to see the contents of the box prior to purchase. "Not interested in what the Llama offers? Simply wait until the daily store refresh and there will be a new selection."
There are a number of other cool touches put into place by Epic including:
- prices remaining the same and that llamas can still be earned via gameplay
- upgrades not increasing the cost. Upgrades will be viewable before purchase
- items for offer being based on items already on account to eliminate duplications
Mini Llamas and event Llamas are still normal Llamas, not X-Ray Llamas. By keeping them as normal Llamas, you can still bulk open these with resources earned through gameplay. All existing Save the World players will receive 5 free Llama Upgrade Tokens to try out the new system. Take a look in the Item Shop! Remember that your X-Ray Llamas refresh daily!
