Epic's latest crossover in Fortnite has added another layer, as the Dragon Ball Adventure Island is now open to explore. Players can don their Saiyan skins and explore iconic locations in the series, such as Kami's Palace and more.

Fortnite and the world of Akira Toriyama's Dragon Ball series have had their worlds collide this week, seeing players run around the iconic battle royale map slinging Kamehamehas at each other like they're going out of style. The battle royale has added another layer to the fun, opening up its Adventure Island today to players.

The main draw of Adventure Island is the ability to explore the world of Dragon Ball. Locations such as Goku's house, Kami's Palace and the Room of Spirit & Time are all present, each with unique activities for players to participate in.

From the Fortnite site (emphasis theirs):

"Explore inspired by iconic locations from Dragon Ball. Soar through a ring course on a Nimbus Cloud (Kintoun) at Kami’s Palace, prepare food at Goku's House, and traverse an obstacle course at the Room of Spirit & Time. These are just some of the challenges you will face on your mission to collect the Dragon Balls. "

You can also test your might against other players in an open PvP battle arena, dubbed the Tenkaichi Budokai. Expect literally all the Kamehamehas.

I know since the crossover launched I've spent more time in Fortnite this week than I have all last year combined. The Dragon Ball aspect has me more excited than I really should be. You can jump into Fortnite and check out the new mode, or just keep working on those quests to obtain all seven Dragon Balls. You can learn more about it at the official site.
