Blizzard has hired former Telltale developer Harrison G. Pink to head up the Diablo team going forward. Pink had worked with Telltale on its Walking Dead series and Tales from the Borderlands. More recently, he had been part of Hangar 13 Games working on Mafia 3 and the Stones Unturned DLC.
Pink made the announcement via Twitter:

There have been many rumors swirling around the Diablo series based on the job postings on the Blizzard site. Fans are hoping for a Diablo 3 expansion at the very least or, more preferably and even better, Diablo 4. There are even whispers that many fans would like to see an MMO based on the series.
What Pink brings to the table will remain to be seen. But given Telltale's emphasis on story, this can only mean good things.
