Tomorrow is Veterans’ Day, but World of Tanks is launching a special charitable campaign today in support of K9s For Warriors, the largest provider in the world of service dogs for veterans. The sale of Vet’s Best Friend packs will raise money to help support the valuable work they do and get you some fun rewards too.

K9s For Warriors provides trained service dogs to military veterans with PTSD, sexual trauma, and traumatic brain injuries. Military veterans who come back with these difficult life experiences are able to live better lives with help from their dogs. And the organization gets the majority of their dogs through high kill rescue shelters. So it’s a win-win for everyone, and Wargaming is looking to throw much support behind this organization for Veterans Day.

In a release detailing the event, US Publishing Director Maxime Mashkov said,  “The World of Tanks community have always been supporters of America's active and retired military. By working with K9s For Warriors, we impact the lives of US servicemembers and preserve the life of a future service dog who will aid them.” Contributions will keep this work going.

If you are able to donate to the organization, there are three support levels that will get you rewards. For $11 or more, you get one canine camouflage for the tank in your garage and one German Shepherd decal. For $22 or more you also get one canine camouflage for the tank in your garage, as well as five decals. At $33, you’ll get all of the above plus the M54 Renegade tank with a garage slot. This is limited to the first 100 donations at this level. Plus one canine camouflage to apply to any tank and 10 doggie decals as thanks.

If you love dogs or just want to donate to vets, you don’t even need to be a World of Tanks player to donate directly to the organization and help. You can find out more about the special campaign, and see all the photos of the decals you can get by visiting this page on the World of Tanks site.
