Foamstars is getting ready to launch its second season, Groovy Disco, on March 9th. Expect a brand new character, new modes, and of course, new cosmetics to have some fun with.
That brand new character, Coiff Guy, features in an all new trailer for the upcoming season. Coiff Guy was first teased in the Happy FriYAY party event in Season 1 (which launched early this month), and now the party can continue if you add him to your roster. You can do that by buying the premium pass for an immediate unlock or getting to Tier 31 on the free Season Pass.
The second season will have several limited events, Ranked Party Lonestar (for soloers) and Ranked Party: Tribe-Vibe (for teams), Extreme Party, and Happy FriYAY Party. Of course, as we've seen with Coiff Guy, that last, weekend-only event will tease the next season’s new character. Ranked Party, Whether you play solo or in a team, if you earn enough rank points you'll be able to take part in the rank up trials and there are seven ranks you can progress through. Extreme Party involves two themed modes to challenge others for victory. Chill the opponent team in an All Coiff Guy Party (for this, you’ll need to have unlocked him) or the Super Duel Party, which is a 1v1 winner take all mode.
Additionally, this season will also add new missions. New Foamstar Missions 4-6 are on the way, with more stories of the Foamstars, their backgrounds, lore, and how to play as these colorful characters. In Mission 6, you’ll get to take on Dark Ramzey in a boss battle.
