Today RuneScape's latest Skilling update is here, with Mining and Smithing caps going up to 110. The team recently announced these level cap raises, as well as additional changes as these first two are just the beginning of Skilling level cap raises and improvements.
You can still brag about making it to level 99, but now if you are interested in scaling up your Mining and Smithing skills, that update is here. In addition to the level cap now being 110, you can mine the 10 Dungeoneering ores around Daemonheim once you have level 100 Mining. These are new mining rocks that will be scattered around on the peninsula and you can find them. once you do, mine them and combine one of each or to forge Primal Bars
With these, you can smith the Primal Armor, the Primal 2H sword, and the Primal Pickaxe. This pickaxe will become the best smithable pickaxe in the game. There are more new options with these skill increases that you can discover. To accompany the update, there are some UI changes, like a new quantity slider on the smithing interface that lets you create multiple projects at the same type.
These are the first two skills that will get the level cap increase, and while most players haven't hit that level 99 mastery yet, many have and they want to continue to add content for those players. So these are the first, but stay tuned for all skills to gradually get a new cap.
Today's update is largely concerned with skilling, but this week there will be a lot more info on everything else via a brand new show from the team, RuneScape Ahead. The stream will happen on RuneScape's YouTube on August 15th at 12pm ET/ 17:00 BST and the team will reveal their next roadmap up to mid 2025 and beyond.
