First Details of Next Expansion Revealed

The Neverwinter site has been updated with a brief look at some of the features that will be arriving with the next expansion. Players will be returning home from the frozen North and returning to the city itself to attempt to reclaim the River District.

Players will have the River District adventure zone complete with new quests to help secure the port and help establish guard posts to keep reclaimed territory safe. The zone will have a fully featured campaign with multiple ways to complete it.

The River District's hallmark is the robust trade available by protecting caravans, bartering withe traveling merchants and more.

The expansion will also see the Illusionists Gambit skirmish released as well as an overhauled and remastered Spellplague Caverns. The dungeon will come in both standard and epic versions with new fight mechanics, bosses and loot.
