First Closed Beta Slated for August 17th

Steparu is reporting that the first closed beta event for Lost Ark is scheduled to begin on August 17th and run through August 24th. Players can sign up for testing but the pool is limited to 9,000 players. Sign ups will begin today when the Korean site goes live (which at this writing, is not yet up). There is not yet word whether or not the beta test, or subsequent tests, will be region-locked.

Lost Ark, a 3D massively-multiplayer online role-playing game offers an immersive action-centric playing style and adopts a non-targeting combat system and a dynamic quarter-view angle to maximize the game experience.

The whole world is in chaos from the attack of Kazeros’ demon army, as Kazeros opens the Chaos Gate with his six legions to invade the human world.
