Hyper Universe is getting ready to blast off into retail release in January, but wants to provide one last opportunity for players to take part in a free weekend event. From December 15-20, players can log in to try out the new Bruiser-class Hyper, participate in the Ranked Mode map and check out the holiday theme that's descended into the game.
- New Bruiser-class Hyper – Hongdukei is a straight up trouble maker making sure opponents feel the pain as he clubs them in the head or tosses them to the ground. This big, bad bruiser is always looking to pick a fight, and players who let him survive long enough run the risk of getting captured by his special gourd.
- Ranked Mode Map – Kicking off Season 0, the new competitive mode offers special rewards not available anywhere else for players looking to make their way to the top; These new ranked systems pits players from Bronze to Grandmaster levels. Players must be level 5 with at least 12 Hypers unlocked to begin participating. Community feedback is encouraged and will be collected through Dec. 21, 7:00 a.m. PST when the mode will temporarily be unavailable until the game’s official launch;
- Holiday Theme – Fans can play through new holiday-themed maps and show off new holiday skins such as Special Sapitelbub’s Snowy Santa Slayer and AishaAishia Snowy Santa.
Fans also have an opportunity to leverage a great discount on Founder's Packs that are now 50% off the original price and sit at only $16. These packages offer players access to all heroes all the time alongside each one's unique weaponry. Packs will be on sale through January 4th.
