The time has almost arrived for us to embark on another set of Main Scenario quests in Final Fantasy XIV, as the Make it Rain event is coming soon.
There will be a series of quests to complete to earn some special items and armor for players to wear loud and proud throughout the lands. The event is scheduled to begin on May 15th and will conclude just a few weeks later on May 31st. To snag the beginning quests and embark on the new journey, we will need to head to the Steps of Nald in Ul’Dah to get things going and accept the first quest.
During this time, players will not only be able to score some nice armor, they will also get their hands on adorable cosmetics such as the Imp Head, Imp Suit, Cactuar Dining table, and the Senor Sabotender Chronometer.
Not only do we get sweet loot from the main event, but the Golden Saucers MGP rewards will also be increased by 50% for the entirety of the event, and a few items from the previous Make it Rain event will become available once again for anyone who may not have gotten all of the rewards they wanted initially.
Running in tandem with the Make it Rain event will also be the Moogle Treasure Trove event, which is finally making its awaited return on May 14th. Recently, Final Fantasy XIV has been the victim of DDoS attacks against its servers, with another attack happening just today. Hopefully this is all resolved before the events kick off on Eorzea.
