The next edition of Little Ladies’ Day in  Final Fantasy XIV will take place from March 1-15th. Square Enix has the details of this year's returning seasonal event, including a new dance emote.

Little Ladies’ Day, A Dance to Remember, is this year’s version of the annual event in Final Fantasy XIV, so if you’ve been around Eorzea for a while, you’re likely familiar with it, or at least the general idea.  Based on the Japanese holiday of Hinamatsuri, which is known as Girls’ Day and features dolls, the Final Fantasy XIV edition is fictionalized under an Eorzean legend. That legend, Edvya, the Lost Lady, is behind some of the theming. The princess was the only child of the sultan of the era, and he tried to keep her safe by keeping her confined to the palace. Yet, as these legends go, she planned to get out and swapped her clothes with a commoner, in order to have an adventure outside.

Last year’s edition was called Dressed to Impress, and the quests involved a fashion face off. This year, get ready for some dancing.

Once the event is live, you can head over to the Royal Seneschal in Ul’dah, to start the quests for the 2023 event. Inheritance, the quest name, is described as “The royal seneschal has a new event in mind to bring smiles to all the princesses of the realm”.

If you successfully complete the quests for the event, then you can earn yourself a couple of Rewards. With a title like A Dance to Remember, it’s no surprise that the main reward is a new emote–Little Ladies’ Dance. The other rewards you can earn this year are a Lovely Little Ladies’ Day Advertisement, a painted poster you can mount on a wall, and Decisions Orchestrion Roll, which adds another roll to your orchestrion list with the tune Decisions.

With this year’s event, there will also be some returning rewards to possibly get from the NPC vendor.
