Final Fantasy XIV will get its next update, Patch 6.3, Gods Revel, Lands Tremble, in January. To tide you over, Square Enix has just opened its 6.3 minisite with new details and images.

There will be new main story quests in the update, with this premise awaiting those who are ready to continue their adventures when it’s live:

“In the darkness of the Thirteenth, the Warrior of Light finds an unexpected ally in a half-voidsent woman named Zero. She returns with them to the Source for a time, and upon recovering from their recent trials, they prepare to continue the search for Azdaja. But an unforeseen threat bars their path…”

A new dungeon will arrive in the update. Lapis Manalis will see you travel to a remote and abandoned village in the mountains where you learn Garleans had practiced the reaper arts. And you’re pursuing voidsent. Sounds almost like a pleasant getaway. Or not. And the new dungeon will be waiting.

The new minisite update also previews the upcoming Unreal Trial, Containment Bay P1T6 (Unreal). It’s time to face the Goddess Sophia once more, and this time, there are some additional challenges to try and stop you.

If that’s not your thing, there will be some additional solo content made available through the Duty Support update. This update will extend the feature to six more dungeons from Heavensward, making all of the dungeons playable in the famous free trial via Duty Support.

Expect the minisite to keep being updated until the patch is ready for release. There will be lots more packed into the 6.3x series, including updates to Island Sanctuary, new custom deliveries, more sidequests, a new Ultimate Raid, a new Alliance Raid Dungeon, and more.

Head over to the Patch 6.3 minisite for the current preview of Gods Revel, Lands Tremble, over at Final Fantasy XIV.
