Given that this is also an event to celebrate the 10th anniversary of A Realm Reborn’s release way back in 2013, but is happening a few months before we get Dawntrail, there’s plenty of options for both celebration and looking towards the future. There should be a schedule out soon, likely later this month, since the event is just about a month away.
Most of the event will be in Japanese, though the fan translations are fast, and there should be plenty of info out even as the stream continues. The Final Fantasy XIV community is one of the most dedicated, so you know what to expect from an event of this type (particularly since it’s an annual tradition). Technically, as noted by Gamerant, this is the ninth annual observation, but the last event was actually in late 2022. That’s because 2023 was a big year with the return of Fan Festival, and a number of announcements, like Dawntrail, and the arrival of Final Fantasy XIV on Xbox after years of community requests.
