Final Fantasy XIV  is ready to celebrate another seasonal event. Little Ladies’ Day is starting next week and will run through the end of the month.

The annual event is based on the Japanese holiday Hinamatsuri, which is also known as Girl’s Day or Doll’s Day. In Final Fantasy XIV , the event features themed decor, and is centered around the ushering in of spring and, according to the official event description, “ where young maidens across the realm are treated as princesses for a day”.

The subtitle of the event is “Dressed to Impress”. You’ll be called upon to help Marabel to help her entry into the Little Ladies’ Day walk off. If the theme is princess for a day, well the reward this year is fitting. You can get yourself the Little Lady's Crown unique for your efforts.

This event will also bring back some items from prior years to an NPC vendor, giving you an opportunity to grab any you might be missing. This year’s event will run from March 14th at 1:00 AM PDT to March 31st at 7:59 AM PDT.

Square Enix is also publishing a collection of stories from Final Fantasy XIV in a special hardcover, foil stamped book called Final Fantasy XIV: Chronicles of Light. These 25 short stories consist of 21 that were originally shared on the FFXIV site, along with four all-new stories. Each of the stories published in the special volume will also come with an all new custom illustration from artist Toshiyuki Itahana.

The book is set for release on October 18, 2022, and will also be available in a digital edition with all of the illustrations.
