Newfound Adventure continues for Final Fantasy XIV with the release of patch 6.11 today. The update bumps up actions and traits to level 90 and adds the Dragonsong’s Reprise (Ultimate) a new high-end Duty with a the level requirement of 90. Also included in the update our new items, new achievements, and a bunch of bug fixes.
The new update continues to build upon the last one, with this one being more of a supplement and progress in raising the level of actions and traits as well as adding the new Duty. Many of the issues that have been fixed in this patch include a few issues with Crystalline Conflict matches, including effects and skills not working as intended, and issues using the market board. in PvP, The Machinist had several actions tweaked to put the damage into the right range and to fix a description. The Bard PVP action Powerful Shot was fixed because when used on PlayStation 4, it was making players unable to run. Similar fixes for other actions were also in this patch.
New items in the patch are mostly level 90 equipment. This makes sense as more players hit that mark and the game grows around them, including with the rest of this update and subsequent increases.
And then we have Dragonsong’s Reprise, which is described as, “Your imagination stirred by the man's masterfully woven verse, you dream of an alternate conclusion to the Dragonsong War”. So where does this leave you? Well, if you’ve got a group of eight players, you’ll be able to challenge this raid and find out. All players must have completed Asphodelos: The Fourth Circle (Savage) to participate, to give you an idea of what might await you in this new raid.
If you’re able to claim victory, you’ll get a reward once per week to trade for ultimate weapons of the Heavens.
