Final Fantasy XIV patch 7.05 is here, bringing AAC Light-heavyweight Tier (Savage) version of Dawntrail’s raid. The update also loosens anti-congestion policies, makes balance changes, adds items, new recipes, new mounts, and more.
Most of the update is about adding some new items, adjustments, balance changes, and a number of fixes and tweaks. However, For those who are engaged in high level content, the arrival of the Savage version of the AAC Light-heavyweight raid is the highlight. Once you're ready and you have a group of eight with item level 700 or higher, check the Raid Finder and get ready. There are four duties available, M1/M2/M3/M4, And if you're careful you can complete all four before the next weekly reset.
If you are victorious, most times a treasure coffer will drop and contain rewards, including Dark Horse Champion's Equipment Coffer. With luck on your rolls and you obtain gear, it will transform to be suitable for your job. If you complete M4, the coffer that drops will also offer a weapon.
The rest of the update is practical, and the update notes are not yet complete with all of the items, recipes, and new master recipes that are included. There are also new orchestrion rolls to add to your collection. Full details on all of the new items will be on the way.
Restrictions on Data Center Travel and World Visit systems designed to help alleviate some of the congestion that happened with Dawntrail’s release have also been lifted. The team has also adjusted login caps for those two features to be tied to world classification for how busy it is at any given time. There is a long list of fixes in this update too, particularly addressing issues that have cropped up since the expansion launch, with more promised.
