The upcoming Final Fantasy VII Remake may be a timed exclusive on PS4, and not a full-blown platform exclusive.
Spotted on Twitter by Wario64, he noted the box art mentions that the game is a timed exclusive until March 3, 2021:

At this point in time, there are no indications on what other platforms Final Fantasy VII Remake may release, but since the next gen consoles will be out by then, it’s a decent guess that both current gen and next gen consoles will see a release. Additionally, given Square Enix’s recent bout of releasing Final Fantasy titles on PC, there’s a strong chance PC will see a release as well.
