Diablo Immortal is joining in on the World of Warcraft 20th anniversary fun with a huge new collaboration. Represent the Alliance and the Horde, fight the Lich King in Fallen Citadel, battle in Cutthroat Basin for glory, grab new Eternal War rewards, weapon skins, the new Mourneskull Legendary Gem, and even turn your Familiars into…Murlocs?
All of that and more are in this event, so if you have been making your way through Sanctuary for a while, or are curious to dive in, this new event has a lot to offer. It starts on November 13th and runs through December 11th. If you log into Diablo Immortal with a character level 10+, you’ll also get a Treasure Nabbin’ Bag cosmetic in World of Warcraft.
The Eternal War descends on Sanctuary, where the Lich King’s legions are spreading their influence there too. During the event time you can earn Frozen Boons through completing daily tasks and competing in the Cutthroat’s Basin event, as well as facing the Lich King himself in the Fallen Citadel. Keep acquiring Boons that help you progress through the Eternal War to earn more loot. Some of what you can look forward to are weapon skins for each class that transform your weapons into some of Azeroth’s legendary arms. You can even progress to earn both a horde and Alliance banner. Complete the entire Eternal War during the event, you will earn the For the Alliance and For the Horde emojis.
Log in during the event to claim login rewards in the first tiers of the Eternal War. These include the new Mourneskull two-star Legendary Gem, one new World of Warcraft weapon skin, and 10 legendary crests. For those who didn't earn them in the previous World of Warcraft collaboration, you can also get the Frostmourne weapon cosmetic and the Icecrown Pathway Portal.
To take on the Lich King, you must earn Fallen Citadel Gates from login rewards, completing dungeon content, and as a rare monster kill drop. Prepare for the battle and if you win, you get a chance at legendary weapon cosmetics.
Cutthroat Basin will pit the Alliance and Horde against each other in this PvP event in a stage inspired by the look of Arathi Basin. This is a version of Diablo Immortal’s Conquerer PvP event. Claim victory and earn progress in the Eternal War event.
Familiars can also sport a new look with the Murloc Familiar skin. Not only do you get the familiar creature looks, the skin has Master Angler traits which will sometimes double your fish haul. There's even a Murloc Tidelurker skin.
