Final Fantasy XIV will be hosting yet another Moogle Treasure Trove event at the end of January 2024, and apparently it will look a lot different than it did in prior years.
The Moogle Treasure Trove event is a fun one, as it gives players plenty of things to do to obtain several in-game rewards and the latest event will allow everyone to earn currency known as Tomestones. These Tomestones were used to purchase upgraded gear in the past, which is huge for those who might miss out on a few raids to get the endgame stuff.
On January 30, 2024, the first event will begin that allows players to earn the new currency for this event; Irregular Tomestones of Genesis I. These can be earned by completing objectives and joining on on different activities during the event. The rewards will be a bit different this time around, as players can spend the newfound currency on hairstyles, cosmetics, and the very fashionable doggo inspired Mameshiba Necklace.
This event is all part of a great lead-up to the new Dawntrail expansion that has plans to release in the Summer of 2024, but with no definitive date at the time of writing.
