With Fatshark set to release Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, on November 30th, the studio has some surprises. The studio is promoting this third installment in the ‘Tide series in seven years with several special offers, including a free copy of the excellent Vermintide 2 for a limited time.
The team plans for a November full of milestones on the way to that November 30th launch. Anyone who wishes to claim a copy of the game can do so on Steam from today, November 3, through November 7th. This will be a free to keep promotion, so you can continue to enjoy the game after these dates.
This offer comes as Fatshark is also planning a new free content update for Vermintide 2 on November 8th. That update, Trail of Treachery, is part one of a two part series and features a new adventure mission.
There’s a new trailer for Trail of Treachery, previewing the new content on the way. If you haven’t had a chance to catch up on the pace and the lore of this series, the Vermintide 2 offer is that chance, especially with fresh content for all coming so soon.
If you’re waiting for Darktide, any player that owns Vermintide or Vermintide 2 on their account, there’s another gift. Fatshark will give out a Devoted Rejects Pack, a special cosmetic pack for Darktide, inspired by Vermintide hero characters. If you qualify, you’ll be able to redeem the pack when Darktide officially releases on November 30th.
If you’ve preordered Darktide, then you can take part in the pre-launch beta that begins on November 17th. This beta will be for PC players, as console launch has not received a public date just yet.
