Father of the Final Fantasy Series to be Honored

During this year's Game Developers Choice Awards on March 4th, Hironobu Sakaguchi, the father of the Final Fantasy series, will be recognized for his contributions to the games industry with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Double Fine's Tim Schaefer will be hosting the GDCAs and Nathan Vella will be hosting the Independent Games Festival Awards as well.

The Game Developers Choice Awards will be held in San Francisco at the Moscone Center during the 2015 Game Developers Conference in early March.
