Fallout 76 might see an influx of players into Appalachia, as the survival crafting game from Bethesda has been added to the slate of titles for January's PlayStation Plus promotion.
Fallout 76's PlayStation 4 version is part of this coming month's "free" games by nature of having a PlayStation Plus subscription, giving the online survival RPG to players across the platform, as well as an influx of new Wastelanders to Appalachia. Since its release in 2018, Fallout 76 has seen massive improvements in almost every area of the title, making it definitely worth a look, especially if it's part of your subscription. Maybe just in time to check out a play?
In addition to Fallout 76, PlayStation Plus members will get EA's exceptional Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, which makes sense leading into the release of the sequel, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor which releases in March. Getting this title in front of players a few months before the sequel's release makes some sense as it gives players a chance to experience the story of Fallen Order and enter into Survivor with it fresh in their minds.
Also as part of PlayStation's January games is the platformer Axion Verge 2. The Metroidvania expands on the original Axiom Verge, bringing its fast-paced, retro 2D gameplay to the PlayStation 4 and PS5 users later on in January.
