Fallout London Launch Bugs Are Being Worked Out Little by Little

Team FOLON has taken note of a few pesky bugs that stop players from enjoying the new content within their massive Fallout: London mod.

Crashing issues make up the majority of complaints, and though fans state to follow the download rules to a tee they can’t shake the blue screen blues per se. One of the major barriers to entry for most fans is the downgrade process that either forces them to log in with their Steam credentials to utilize a third-party service or attempt to move and manipulate files on their own.

Even with the crashes and minor bugs that have been revealed, that does not take away from the sheer scope of this mod that comes across as almost a standalone game set in the Fallout 4 world. While some are patient enough to get to the content, some have given up in the meantime while the developers implement fix after fix to get things back up to speed.

According to PCGamesN, these issues are affecting both Steam and GoG downloads, meaning that no one can escape the game-crashing bugs at this time. In regards to the issues at hand, Team FOLON took to X to state,

“We’re working hard to fix the reported technical issues and expect to release an update soon. Thank you for your patience.”

On top of an X post comes an entire Reddit thread discussing indications that could mean something is wrong with the download. These include the main title menu music being defaulted to Fallout 4’s music, crashing on launch, a green UI, and not being able to select a female character. For now, the devs recommend re-installing everything if nothing seems to fix any of the above issues, as well as using their installer and a few other methods to attempt to salvage files.
