Fallout Games See Massive Spike in Concurrent Users Following the Premiere of Amazon's Fallout TV Series

The Fallout IP has unsurprisingly seen a resurgence in excitement due to the positive reception of Amazon Prime’s Fallout TV series, which is set in the same universe.

According to charts on SteamDB, Fallout: New Vegas, Fallout 4, and Fallout 76 have all seen massive spikes in their concurrent users since the debut of the show on April 10. In Fallout 76’s case, the game has pushed past its all-time high numerous times over the past few days.

Bethesda has leaned particularly hard into Fallout 76, with a free play week that ran from April 11 to April 18. The studio also slashed prices on Fallout 76, offering a whopping 80% discount on the game’s Standard Edition and 67% off the Deluxe Edition. 

Fallout 76 players can also claim a free Vault 33 jumpsuit in the game’s Atomic Shop through May 7. Game Pass Ultimate members can additionally claim a Vault 33 Survival Kit through June 17. This kit rewards player’s with Lucy’s Vault 33 backpack from the TV show, a number of consumables, and three S.C.O.R.E. boosters.
