In just a few more days, fans of the beloved post-apocalyptic series Fallout will have something to look forward to with a special Fallout Day broadcast. While we may not know everything the team will talk about, I think we should be able to glean a few ideas of what to expect.
On October 23rd, 2024, at 3pm EST, players will be able to tune into the Fallout Day broadcast on any of Bethesda’s channels including Facebook and Youtube. The official Fallout Twitter account has also teased the event, but up to this point the team has been rather tightlipped on details of what exactly we can expect.

For those unfamiliar, Fallout Day is typically celebrated on October 23rd, and it commemorates the day the bombs fell in the series' lore in 2077. In previous years, Bethesda has marked the day with announcements, great discounts, or community events, and we expect them to go above and beyond this year with renewed interest of the series due to the popular Amazon show.
As we await more news on what’s to come on the broadcast, there are at least a few things we will probably be able to expect. For example, in an interview from Screenrant, returning star Leslie Uggams divulged that the second season of the Fallout show is set to begin production in November. After the success of the first season, anticipation for the continuation of this ambitious adaptation is extremely high. I don’t think it’s out of the realm of possibility that Bethesda will have some details about the potential plot and maybe even a release window for Season 2.
On the game front, Fallout 76 recently received a major update with Milepost Zero, introducing new mechanics like the addition of caravans. As the quintessential ongoing Fallout experience, I think it’s safe to say that we’ll probably hear about some additional content on the Fallout 76 front. The real question remains: What surprises could Bethesda reveal? Will we get more information on Fallout 5?
For now, everything remains sealed tightly in Bethesda’s own vault. For those of you patiently awaiting these new reveals, feel free to hop into the comments and let us know what you’d like to see revealed.
