Fallout 76's final chapter in the Brotherhood of Steel quest series, Steel Reign, is now live across PC, Xbox and PlayStation. The new chapter is free for all Fallout 76 players to enjoy.

Steel Reign brings new quests, locations and more to the Appalachia-set survival game. In addition to the next chapter in the storyline, the new content also features the Legendary Crafting system, letting players upgrade their normal weapons and gear, turning them into legendary items and more.

Via the official site:

"Steel Reign brings the conclusion of the Brotherhood of Steel storyline. You arrive back at Fort Atlas to find the tensions between Paladin Rahmani and Knight Shin have reached a boiling point. After swarms of Super Mutants start to appear and people are reported missing, how will you guide the Brotherhood? Will you take the side of justice or will you remain committed to duty?"

Fallout 76 players will need to be at least level 20 and have completed The Best Defense in order to start the Steel Reign questline. If you've completed the aforementioned quest, you'll be able to start "A Knight's Penance," which has players speak with Russell Dorsey in Fort Atlas.

Today's update also sees many different balance passes for legendary items, power armor and more. Additionally, Season 5 is live with the Steel Reign update, brining a new adventure to players with K.D. Inkwell. Players can also interact with a new vendor, Minerva, who will sell wares to players in exchange for Gold Bullion.

You can check out the full patch notes on the official Fallout 76 website for more details.
