Fallout 76's upcoming events invite players to join the Squirrel Scouts as part of a new challenge event coming to the survival MMO.
The event, which starts on July 25th and runs through August 8th, has players competing in ten challenges for unique rewards. You can claim the Squirrel Scouts Backpack Skin for free during the event, though the Squirrel Scout Backpack flair will require you to complete at least seven of the ten challenges in the event period.
"From July 25th to August 8th, claim the Squirrel Scouts Backpack Skin for free in the Atomic Shop, and complete Challenges to earn new unique rewards! We’re doing things a little differently than you’re used to this time - now you’ll have ten unique Challenges to complete anytime during the event duration."
If you tackle and complete all ten challenges, you'll earn the new Scrap Rat Backpack Mod, which gives you a -90% weight reduction of Scrap and Components. That's kind of huge.
More events are coming each weekend in July, such as the Scrip Surplus and Double Mutation events running this weekend. July 27th through the 31st brings the Hunt for the Treasure Hunter event, with players hunting for Mole miner Treasure Hunters across Appalachia.
