Fallout 76's season Mothman Equinox event is returning to Appalachia, giving players the chance to take on cultists intent on interrupting the ritual seeking to summon the Wise Mothman, earning rewards now through July 12th.

The update returns after last being seen in December, with mysterious travelers calling themselves "The Enlightened" returning to Appalachia. These travelers are seeking to summon the Wise Mothman, but enemy cultists aim to disrupt their plans.

"A group of robed travelers have just arrived in Appalachia, and they’ve taken up residence at Point Pleasant to celebrate a dubious occasion known as the Mothman Equinox. Calling themselves “The Enlightened,” this sect of the Wise Mothman’s most devoted followers plan to summon the cryptid through an elaborate ritual. Aid their dark endeavors and fend off rival cultists to earn the Wise Mothman’s favor!"

Starting on June 28th and running through July 12th, players can take part in helping aid the Enlightened as Cultists who are seeking to stop the Mothmans from finishing their tasks while also earning rewards. Players can also learn more about the Mothman Cultists in Point Pleasant, though other shadow creatures might not be too happy you're there poking around.

The event runs until July 12th, so you've got time to check out the Mothman Equinox for a few weeks. In the meantime, check out the trailer below.
