It looks like Bethesda is getting ready to reopen the PTS for Fallout 76 sometime later this month.
We had previously reported that due to the severe winter weather in Texas, and the fact that most of the Fallout 76 team is located in Austin, the rollout of the PTS would be delayed. At the time, there was no date provided. In a recent Inside the Vault, we now have an update.
The PTS is set to reopen sometime mid-March. The team notes they still need to ensure everything is functioning first. Once the PTS reopens, features like SPECIAL Loadouts, CAMP slots, and Daily Ops expansion will become available to test.
If you’re playing on PC and own your copy through Bethesda.net, check out the PTS server. No exact date was shared, but anticipate the PTS to be reopened in the next few weeks. Bethesda should have an announcement when it does reopen.
The post also outlines several community activities set to take place throughout the month. These activities include things like Around Appalachia which is essentially a photo mode sharing project. The theme this season is Winter Silhouette. For consideration, be sure to submit your screenshots by March 15.
